• Mesomixing refers to the turbulent dispersion of a feed stream shortly after it enters a mixing vessel. 

  • It  is caused by the action of the mixing impeller.

  • Mesomixing occurs at a higher scale compared to micromixing, but at a lower scale than macromixing.
